Maya tutored our 11th grade son in Physics. Each week, she requested course information and textbook material in advance to prepare for his tutoring session. Her approach was very individualized. I sat outside her home office, and I witnessed her preparedness, her extreme professionalism, and her unique ability to demand his best. She established a relationship, inquiring about his interests, communicating effectively, and celebrating his successes throughout the year. Our son excelled in Physics, when he did not believe he could, but greater than that are the life lessons she taught him in speaking with confidence and always giving his best. She’s a gem!
